At the heart of this program is compassion for individuals and families facing real needs, bringing practical support where it is needed most. Through financial assistance and acts of service, we provide encouragement and provision—meeting people where they are and walking alongside them with dignity and respect, so they know they are seen, valued, and not alone.

We partner with trusted organizations and individuals to help identify those in need, allowing us to respond thoughtfully and effectively. When a person is not referred to  FICC that person may still be considered by providing a reference and reasonable confirmation of their situation. This approach allows us to remain both compassionate and responsible, helping ensure support is directed where it is most needed.

Financial assistance is directed toward essential needs, providing stability and relief. Payments are made directly to vendors whenever possible. For food and household items, we come alongside them to obtain the items they need with donated finances.

All benevolence funds are dedicated solely to serving those in need. To support the administration and sustainability of the program, a modest cost of up to 3% with a maximum for very large donations may be applied. This allows us to continue serving faithfully, ensuring that the majority of every contribution directly impacts the lives of those we are called to help.  

A bank fee of $30 will be deducted from funds wired to FICC. The donor will receive a receipt for the donor's tax records.

Financial gifts are processed through the Zeffy platform, which is free to use and provides a receipt for the donor’s tax records. For those who contribute services, FICC can provide written confirmation of the service provided; however, no monetary value will be assigned. The donor is responsible for determining the value of the service for their own records. 

We bring together individuals in need with those who are ready to serve, creating opportunities for care that are both practical and personal. Whether through counseling, yard work, repairs, transportation, visiting seniors, cleaning, or other acts of service, each connection becomes a way to meet real needs while showing genuine compassion.

Those offering services will connect directly with the individual to understand their situation, listen with care, and agree together on the level of support that is most helpful. These moments often become more than assistance—they become opportunities to encourage, strengthen, and walk alongside one another.

We maintain records of all benevolence provided through FICC to ensure responsible and consistent care. Financial summaries will be available on oon request reflecting our commitment to transparency and faithful stewardship.

The condition of FICC's 501(c)3 status requires that FICC has its own discretion how the funds will be distributed. FICC will consider if a referral aligns with our exempt purpose.
